Seed shell on plant

One way that works well is to take some clean manicuring scissors (i like the short straight kind) dip them in alcohol, let them dry. Carefully insert the closed tip into the shell, so that it touches both sides of the seed coat, but does not touch the cotyledons. Now, slowly open the scissors and the shell will come free.

I just had this problem with two of my seeds. I tried to remove the shell off of one... I ripped its entire head off.
Lesson learned, I'm not going to touch the other one, it can decide whether to live or die.

I had the same problem too, I just took the seed shell right off, it's only the 3rd daY of growing though. Wierd LOL but I hope evryhing will be ok.
