Seed selection

How do you guys decide what your next seeds are gonna be?
Do all those high priced instagram famous names really work?
Seedjunky, ograskal, ect ect
Does buying those seeds really result in better weed if you would compare them to lets say karma genetics or dna ect?

Get whatever is interesting to you. I don't get caught up in fancy names though.

I like knowing what I’m getting. So I know how it’s going to work or effect me.

So if i wanted og kush a 3$ home brand would do as good as og kush from ograskal for 20$ a piece?

I mostly like Indica so that’s what I purchase. And yes there is a description in most cases to help u decide. Lookup what others are saying about that strain as well. Gather your info

The breeder is the most important part in finding quality genetics. I would go with a trustworthy breeder like Bodhi, Rare Dankness, etc... But if you get lucky you might find a real winner with the home brand OG.

Funny im growing some scotts og by rare dankness right now.
Dont see no big difference in quality and yield.
When i look at insta pics of i.e. seedjunky jbeezy his weed is so full of resin.

Some people can paint doors and houses, other people can paint the ceiling of the Sistine chapel.
I can't paint a door without concentrating hard, personally.
It's frustrating to see painters high on thinner doing it while smoking a joint.

But if i grow a nameless 2$ seed in the same tent as a 20$ seed you should see some big differences no?

Why? Plenty of people grow bagseed.
Someone used to post pics of his trailer park grow, not a nickel to his name from bagseed, no brand nutes, milk carton planters, amazing grower.
The genetics might be rare this year for $20, but in a years time the descendants will cost $2. It's not a "bad" seed at $2 , is it?

I just order the cheapest.
I assumed everyone else does as well because when I hit "list low to high" they're normally out of stock on all of the cheapest 10-20 seeds.

That was kind of my question
Is it worth it to pay 200$ for 6 og kush seeds,
Or would a regular og kush be just as good.

Prob a stupid question to ask because everyone has a diffenrent view on it,
But was kinda hoping for people to say
I run seedjunky and its way better that others

Just buy what you want, or ride the wave and pay top dollar.

I have only done this a few times and i have used privada reserva, cali connection, rare dankness and also bagseed most of them came out fire, but not like the pic i included
There is more resin on the leaves than most people have on the flowers

HPS, PGRs and CO2 ....3 things I don't have that some people do.
I can't do that either, which is when I realized I'll never have the plants on Instagram

You are right
But this was grown in amsterdam under led
He did use co2 but no pgr or shit like that.

I always try to improve my own skills but just wanted to know if you guys think buying from them would help

I've never bought high priced beans, for a 10 pack of regs I pay anywhere from
40-100$.. strayfox, shoreline, useful seeds, brisco bargain beans, Tony greens, docs dank, bodhi, can hang with any of the high priced seeds.
