Seed question

Hello all,
I am in the process of setting up my first grow room to help treat my father with ALS. I pretty much have everything thought out but I can't seem to figure out a way where I feel safe with getting seeds. One of the biggest problems I'm having is I can't have them sent to my address because I know you don't ever want them sent to the address of the grow area and I don't know if I am going to convince my dad to allow be to be sent to his house.

I am open to traveling to another state, I know Oregon will except out-of-state patients for the prescription card, but I don't know if there are places there that I can purchase seeds. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ummmmmmmmm, You could grow bag seed. You could buy from a collective/dispensary - most of them are online and you can easily view if they are carrying seeds - or just call the shop lol. You can get seeds from friends. I am a medical grower; so I just have my genetics delivered to my door. My crasian mailman is a real trooper about making sure everything is delivered safe and sound; I feel like he carried those seeds around in his pocket for 2 weeks while I was on vacation; he was so happy when he finally handed them to me! Great times haha

I've never seen where a grow was busted because a package of se-eds was delivered to the address.

Awesome mail guy - I'm assuming you are in an mmj legal state, I'm in Florida, so we don't have any collectives/dispensaries here… At least not until next year!

I know… Ive read that in many posts. I've read where people do get their seeds fine. I've also read where it is advised not to have seeds mailed to the grow address. Even though I understand the logic that the chances of being profiled or traced for ordering seeds is low - I have to wonder why I keep seeing the advice to not send to the grow address?

I don't personally know one person who doesnt just get their seeds sent to their house.
Not saying there arent people out there who go through the extra steps but no one I know personally.
In fact, I see it as, I am the one taking the risk, I would not want to involve anyone else. If I have to send seeds to someone else, they are now involved and know more than I want them to know.

I see what you are saying and it does make sense, I just get confused when I read the stickies on this forum advising me to not send to the grow house but then I hear to not worry about it and just have them sent to my house. The other advice that I've adhered to is to not tell anyone about the grow room.

Thank you for the reply I am going to go ahead and just ordered them straight to my house, I seriously cannot see law-enforcement busting somebody for seeds.
