There is no way to tell how old the seeds are or how many will germinate just by looking at them short of seeing obvious signs of damage or immaturity.
A month or more would be better. I tried some fresh seeds this autumn (due to accidental pollination I had/have plenty) and I got 3 out of 12 to germinate. About a month ago I tried some, and I got 7 out of 8. Patience is key.
Just took a closer look at the pic, some of those are definitely not viable, any with an end that looks like it collapsed and turned black were immature, and will not germ.
Also the paler the seed the less likely it is to be good.
