Seed problem?

Hello growers

I have harvested some seeds from an outdoor plant. When I collected the seeds the plant was at its peak. The seeds look very good: brown shells with black veins. I have had them in the fridge for a couple months and am experiencing problems germinating them. I have tried a couple dif. ways to do so with no succes. I know these things have to be viable but I just cant get them to sprout. Any ideas on what I might do to get some sprouts?

do the paper towel method and set them on top of your tv or something warm, if they dont sprout within a week then they are no good.

I've tried that method..I just don't understand how these seeds as good as they look are not viable. It's weird and frustrating.

Well if at 1st you dont sucseed, try try again heeee.
