When is actually the best time to remove the seed leaves?
Canopy to dence and restricting airflow, humidity problem and you want to reduce plant resperation, spidermite problem in its early stages remove lower foilage greatly reduces there population and makes treatment easier, ectWhat is a "seed" leaf?
Why remove it?
Why remove any leaf that isn't dying?
defoliation, isn't a good idea.
What is stripping after stretch. I'm interested- not wanting to flip you shitSome of us top by only removing leaves, I have recently bought into the GML style (3rd run currently) where we are stripping after the stretch and have not been disappointed.
The best answer you will find is on YouTube. Search for Grand Master Level. I'm not suggesting he's the best grower, or his methods are the best, but they are transparent and he's available during live streams on any number of other You(Grow)Tubers. What is stripping after stretch. It would have to defined for clarity and agreement I'd say.As far as defoliation... I think the evidence is clear that it can be an extremely effective tool.

Basically he rapes the plant of any leaves with stems at about 14 days in. I've tried it at the flip, at 14 days, and now at 18 days. Things did not go well doing it at the flip for some varieties, (intersex/stress etc) some were not as badly impacted. At 14/18 days it really just allows the canopy to breathe. It might lower yield, it might increase yield, I have not attempted to track any type of metrics in that regard.
I can say it 100% eliminated any stagnant water on overlapping leaves in the canopy.
You might not want to do it then.I dont get that. ??? I never rape my plants, they all touch each other in both rooms, I dont have molds or mites ever, I sometimes foliar feed in veg never in flower and have no issues with wet over lapping leaves. so why chance less photosynthesis/quantity/quality/health/sex confusion at all ?
