i take a fingernail file and its difficult but i file the sharp edge around the seed till its a round soft edge, put one drop of superthrive to a 16oz bottle of spring water and put them in the crease of a napkin in ziplock bag in a metal box{tin}.then i put the box in my grow room under lights at about 80f ,the seeds stay dark and warm. :joint::mrgreen:i always pop five for five in 24 hours, most within 8 hours.dont dog me til ya try it fellas!!!!!!!!!!!

On 5-8 I started 8 seeds germinating in wet paper towels on a plate in a dark room. I also started 8 seeds in a glass bowl of wet Soil Moist.

Today, on 5-11, 3 of the 8 seeds in the paper towels had formed a root.

All 8 seeds in the soil moist have roots that are about 50% larger than those in the paper towels!
:hump:
As an added bonus, removing the seeds from the soil moist should be a snap. In the past I've had roots grab hold of the paper towel.

Thought I'd share my li'l discovery. Pardons if somebody else has already tried this.

when i get a root stuck in the paper towel i just tear around the root and leave the paper towel strip attached and plant it. i have had no adverse reactions this way and figure the paper towel holds a little extra moisture around the tap root.

I dunno... Ive never had any problems with taproots sticking to my paper towels, or toilet paper, or even soft rags... I just dont see the need in all the extra lil products and techniques and such, when itz REALLY such a simple lil process for 99% of everyone else... And whatever happenned to just planting the seeds in the dirt, kinda like they do themselves, in nature? Just my opinion...

Im sure if u soak anything in enough water for long enough, they will become larger due to water retention... How does this make bigger better, in THIS case???
