Welcome to Rollitup Tubzta83,

Yes, you can plant your sprouted seed and should be good to go. Seeds are so expensive that I can understand your angst about wanting to grow efficiently. I have had good luck sprouting on wet paper towels and out of the last batch of 20 all of them popped. Not familiar with using cotton.

You can plant straight into soil without doing anything. You don't have to germinate and have a tap root before planting a seed. Cannabis has been growing for tens of thousands of years by just dropping seeds on the ground. Long before people decided to waste time pre germinating the seeds.

Paper towels have only been around about 130 years so they're not needed to sprout a seed. Paper towel germination is a fairly recent thing that some people do. People have just been sticking seeds in dirt for thousands of years. Modern cannabis growers tend to overcomplicate everything.
