Hello,
The bottom 2 leaves on 1 of my new plants has a bunch of spots on them and they were turning browish/yellow in color. Can someone please tell me what would cause the leaves to do that? It's the only plant out of all of them that has the problem. Thanks alot for any help!

Is that first set of single leaves on the plant called water leaves?

Okay thanks, I'l get rid of the foil. I didn't like the idea but a few people here told me I should do it and they specifically suggested I use foil. So I'll get some white cardboard and use that instead.

With heat stress, is it normal for only 1 of 16 plants to show symptoms?

Thanks a million for the input!

My nutes are only at half strength right now (330PPM), so I don't think it's that. Hopefully losing the foil on top of the cubes will solve the problem.

Thanks alot for you help!

I haven't used anything but bottled distilled water from Kroger and it's costing me about $30 - $40 a month at the rate I'm going so I think I will go buy a britta filter to use until I purchase my reverse osmosis, which won't be long. So will it show 0 PPM like the distilled water does? Thanks

Mine tap water is 9 after going through the filter mine is 4.5 so I use PH up to get it to 6.5

Do you check you parts per million (PPM) in your water before & after adding nutes? If so, what is the PPM after you run it through the filter?
