What's odd is how sometimes those super frosty strains don't pack the punch some of the less frosty ones do.

ive heard that before, its something to do with the stalks being longer to give the appearance of more frost- but we are after the gland on top that contains the THC.

also something called cystolith trichomes, they make it look super white and frosty but they have no heads.
