the cruise terminal will depend on whether it accepts international passengers. I know there are metal detectors and dogs usually. There is no XRAY but this was pre 9/11 so my info may be outdated. Take you sac super double bag that sht then tuck it between your legs, wear whity-tighties, and walk normal. But the sack in your pants right before borading the ship, and take it out once you get to your room. Once your out to sea I would only smoke at night somewhere on deck when no one else is around or other passangers may complain about the odor.

i hear every inch of the ship besides your room is on video. 24/7 smoking will be risky. and the ventilation system may be connected. usually the bathroom with the fan and shower on is the best way in a hotel. but i dont know if that will work on a ship???
i would go with eatibles if i was on a cruise...chocolate or hard candy. heat seal in plastic and make a fake label. make it look like storebought, if someone asks tell them it is vegan...they probably wont have any vegan chocolate on the ship....it works for me on a plane...wouldnt try it with dogs though.
a few small pre-rolled joints might be better for the deck than a bowl. double bag, alcohol the outside and crotch it. use the strongest herb/hash you got....roll them small 5-6 hits each with a small filter. that way it will look like a cig and you can flick it to sea if someone approaches you...make sure you are in a designated smoking area.

while on this topic, has anyone ever called the cruise company and asked? if you have a medical card and it is international waters.
the cruise industry is probably hurting right now due to that ship having to be towed back to port a few months ago.

Two methods that have worked:
1- Take your best whatever and wad it up as tight as you can get it and wrap it with some clear wrap a couple times and then trim and melt it till it's sealed. Now stick it to you somewhere with a large bandaid, flexible cloth ones work best. Cause seriously, even if they see the bandaid you think they are gonna make you lift it up for them lol? Never a problem with that method.
2- Take a bottle of lotion or whatever, solid colored etc. and just stick something tightly packed and sealed in it. (sucks to fish it out later but oh well cut it open if ya have to.) If they open it and look/smell all they will see is the solid lotion. Make sure to bag the bottle so it doesn't leak and pack it up. =)
If you smoke outside in a public area, stick with joints. No pipes. And be prepared to ditch it if need be. Otherwise try packing a few dryer sheets. Take a toilet paper roll (found in room hopefully) and put one crunched up in it and one folded over a couple times on the end and blow your hits through it. Smells like Downy! =)

if it's in the caribbean it's easy:
just get off on the island and sit around the beach for a lil bit, not long should pass before someone walks by and offers you some weed.
buy some, it's cheap and usually really low quality. 20 bucks should get you half oz.
put in your pocket. inside a cigarette pack or something.
walk into the cruise. not rocket science. don't try and get 1 lb of weed on the cruise. make it around 1/8-1/2 oz max. that way they won't get too pissed off if your caught......
i just smoke joints off the side of the cruise, off whatever side the wind is blowing out, sometimes the wind blows into the deck, avoid that. sometimes I cloud out the bathroom, but cabins are so small you stink up the entire hallway after more than 2 hits.
it's hard to tell if its a joint or a cigarette through the cameras. if i see somebody coming, i fling it into the ocean.

Yea man I am leaving from Texas headed to Belize and Cozumel. I read up about there security and keeping it on my "person" is the best idea i think...
Also having to smuggle liquor cuz these thiefs charge you $8 for mixed drinks, just picked up 2 floppy flasks so i can go in to port fill up with cheapy cheap shit.
I have a balcony attached to my room, so early in the morning and late at night Im prob just gonna smoke there or on the upper decks like you guys were saying.

Be careful in T.X.-keep it in your pocket on the cruise keep it on you blaze but don't disrespect anyone by smoking in closed common areas. don't be a weirdo acting like your doing something wrong. don't go any weird places don't try to hide. have fun if you want to smoke go roll one up go someplace outside and a public smoking area smoke , don't flinch even if people talking to you just casually smoke if they ask share if they don't , don't offer and don't tell anyone you have weed its none of their buisness. your an adult paying to party on a boat -have fun

I took a cruise to Jamaca, scored a bunch of weed there and walked it right back on the ship in my pocket.
If you are leaving from a US port then there is no problem. Put it in your pocket or carry on baggage. If you are REALLY paranoid then quadruple wrap your stash and "buttcheek" it. Cannabis isn't metallic so it won't show up. The Feds aren't looking for pot going OUT of the country. Where people get into trouble is trying to bring it BACK into the US. There is a reason why the cruise ships ask you to place your bags outside your cabin on the last night. I've been on many cruises and ICE will run their little beagles up and down the luggage on every deck before they clear the vessel for entry. Book an outside cabin and burn on the patio. If you can't afford that then spark up in the bathroom. The exhaust fan goes straight up and out the smoke stack and there is no way they can trace the smell to your room.
With regards to "smuggling" alcohol onboard. They allow you to bring water and soft drinks. We packed a case of bottled water. What they didn't know was that 1/2 of the 20oz bottled water was filled with rum. We got 1/2 way through a 14 day cruise before we had to smuggle more rum back onboard - in "water bottles".
Not to mention you can just flick the J right overboard if need be. Like you said, just be outside, and carry it with you because of maid service etc. Have fun man!

all good I leave in 2 DAYS!!! I'm so stoked, just graduated from college and Im ready to let loose. I got some dank and I DO HAVE A PATIO!!!!! Its like 65 sq. ft (so thats like 6x10 enough to sit a couple people), plus my little bro has the cabin right next door also with his own patio lol Ill let you guys know how it goes

Hey dude are you doing Royal Carribean because I am about to do that cruise too...January 9th-16th.
Anyways let me know whats up. I am leaving out of Galveston (same as you I assume)...I have never smoked on a ship before though and am kind of worried about the same thing.

here is a idea that i used to sneak in alcohol on our cruise. we bought a big bottle of kettle one and 2 bottles of Listerine and carefully sliced the label under the cap so we can still take the cap on/off with it still looking sealed. then filled the empty Listerine bottles with the kettle one added 2 drops of green food coloring and put the cap back on and put it in my suitcase.
