Secret jardin dr60 laying down + v-scrog

Hi all!

I would love to hear what you think about this setup. Does it gonna work?

It's a Secret jardin laying down on the side with a 250w HPS and 175m3/h fan + carbon filter. My idea is to scrog vertical. Is this possible?

Tents are meant to be vertical. Use it the way it was made for is my suggestion or build your own.

am i missing something or is he using the tent the right way? i think the pic is just on its side.

MrFootball, he wants to lay it sideways and use it. The frame with them does not allow for horizontal use, I have one myself. They were built to be used vertically.

i see what you are saying now, why would he want to do that? how could that even work?

hehe okey guys. i will tell you why i would like to do such a crazy thing. Im planning for a future lack of space and I allready got a tent with that equip.

I would suggest getting a smaller tent. You can get them in shorter height and all. I found one that is 4ftx2ftx4ft for my sister to run in her tent with a four or six hundred running air cooled with a nice inline fan and all. Check out HTG Supply or just hsop around amazon.com for some deals, you may find a tent more spec'd to what you are looking for.

wouldnt standing the tent up save more floor space?

yeah it would but the floor space is not the problem. it's the height. im not intressted in buy more stuff just for this grow. my space will only be limited for the upcoming months.

There is no reason why this wont work .. However extra an extra support brace maybe be needed (custom made) also... you will need to move fans to cool the lamp and blow the hot air back to the left of the tent as opposed to upwards! You could even use a cooltube and some elbows and have a vertical scrog on either side to maximise the yield.. If you use powerful yet smaller conponents ie/ Fan + filter you'll have more space for both air-flow and plant growth.. a little imagination and patience and you'll be as right as rain - STELTHY

well is it working? i'm curious. also - why not put another scrog on the left hand side? shame on those lumens.
