Ok so I either forgot what website I used to post my last grow or I just forgot my login info. Anyways this will be my second grow attemp and I hope it turns out better than the last. some differences of the past grow and this one are.
1.seeds - first time I used random seeds and this time I ordered some white widow, northern soul and some LA Chocolat
2.soil - last time I used dirt from my backyard, this time I have a mixture of some Miracle grow, top soil, steer manure and gardening soil
3.Dont know what I can call it but basically last time I grew It was 2007 and I was super broke and at one point I started picking at my plants and smoking them prematurely so the end yield was very very low. I regret it but it was just a lesson learned.

Spider mites and moths where a big problem for me, i would always find mites under the leaves and sometimes when I would inspect the colas nugs of weed would fall off and there would be an ugly caterpillar staring me in the face. I want two avoid those main problems. I have enough weed to get me through the harvest so the only picking I will be doing if the dead or infected leaves.

some of the questions I have are, is my soil mixture good enough?
what can I add to make it better? I'm prepping my pots tomorrow... ( I PLAN TO BUY BAT GUANO AND WORM CASTINGS IN A MONTH)
Are my seeds guaranteed to sprout? they are feminized from attitude seed bank
Help me out with the pest problem guys, I know my seedlings are safe but what happens in two months?? they are going to get attacked hardcore!!

by the way I will have a full blown vegetable garden going on in my yard in about a month, I have tomatoes, chile peppers, herbs, corn etc.etc. How will that effect my bud plants? let me know what you have experienced. I want to put two plants directly in the grown next to some tobacco and corn...

I will post pictures of my yard, seeds and grow site later this week. I appreciate your input and the time you took to read my post. I know there is a bunch of newbs and alot of just "dumb" guys asking questions but we all need some advice and of course at the end of the day we all want some killer crops that we can show off either to our friends or online!

HAPPY GROWING EVERYONE and stay lit!

seeds are now germinating outside under a bowl, on a plate using the paper towel method. my bbq seems to stay hot so I will leave em there until they sprout. going to prep my pots in a bit

the white widow and LA chocolat just sprouted little tap roots, should I put them in the soil already? or wait for the root to get a little bigger? thanks

I planted the germinated seeds in the ground about 48 hours ago and they still havent sprouted. is this normal? all 5 seeds sprouted a tap root and put them in the dirt pretty quickly

I think they say average for them to pop up is 3-5 days. Don't panic just yet. And it's fine to put them into the soil as soon as they show the tap root. My ? is how moist should that soil be kept that's on top of the seed???

well I had one of the northern soul pop out two tap roots and surprisingly that was the first plant to spout a seedling. I'm going to call it Mutant OG!! well I guess we will have to wait and see exactly how it turns out before I give it a different name. anyone come across two taproots before? is it basically two plants or will it grow like one? this babys going in the ground. as far as the rest. only one other northern soul is showing signs of life but im crossing my fingers for my LA and WW

white widow is showing no signs of life and I'm almost kind of worried, I remember the tap root looking strong and long. I planted it at the same exact time as my LA chocolat witch just sprouted a seedling, waiting on WW and last northern soul to sprout. I will post a complete updated thread in a few days once I get some pictures and the babys grow big enough for a photo shoot:hump:

Cover the ww with clear plastic to create a greenhouse effect. This will raise the humidity n keep things nice and warm. And never over water as tap roots will be destroyed by fungi. Gl w the outdoor grow.

Tie 'em down so the wind won't mess them so much.
No matter what, you always have to check for bugs on your plants, indoors or outdoors. Neem oil works for keeping them away, but there are specific compounds (organic and synthetic) designed for pests.
I don't ever use the paper towel method, I put them directly into the soil, and they always sprout. It just takes them longer. I only use bag weed seeds (and some of my own "invention" :eyesmoke:).
