Thanks for the pics. This will help me to have an idea of where i should be in the grow and how much cropping that will need to be done. I am looking forward to seeing how yours end up. It looks like very good yields so far.

Bonus pts if you can identify this bug. This is the second time I've seen one on the closet door. Closest thing I could find in pest guide is a aphid but it isn't if you look close. Thinking it was a box elder bug, but it doesn't seem to have the red they normally have, and its legs seemed slightly longer. Oh and they fly, if that helps... scared the shit outta me when I first found that out lol

someguy, i just finished both of your grows, thank you for all the documation on your trials and errors, it really helps out future growers like me. One thing i wanted to add was when you babies strart out to grow instead of moving the light is there anyway you can move the plants up? i know its a hydro drain thing but i noticed you could haver an even canopy if you raised the plants up. Second there should be no problem moving that filter out of the way and moving up the light, you dont want to kill one like last time. i had a real problem with heat stress and im sure the dropping and what you thought was nute burn could possibly be heat related. Lastly I think the best advice is DONT DO SOOOOO MUCH!!!!! I am guilty of the same thing, always tinking always messin and the plants dont like it. Less is more. Have you thought of adding a co2 boost bucket? Ive read up to 30% increase in yeilds and for around 100 bucks it sounds pretty cool especially for small grows. What peeked my intrest with ur grow was the 400 watt u are using. that is all i was going to use and was curious on yeilds. Anyways your doing real good man let us know how much you get this time, keep up the good work

dense as nugs in a closet! to see a 600w closet bloom room with no a/c, look that great, it truly is amazing bro. can't wait to see how swollen that closet gets!

Thx for stopping' in guys. I'll have to watch the temps as it gets a bit warmer outside and make a decision on moving the filter. I'm partially being lazy, but the temps are hitting 85 in the hottest area, a cause for concern. I would consider the co2 boost but I have such good ventilation (required for 600w of heat) and it would be sucked out quickly. I would consider it, but then I'd rather just go sealed and do a legit tank. Maybe when I get a little more space, at this point I'm pushing a 2x4 closet to the max!

Also found out my LA Woman (mother/clones for next round) is a combination of LA Confidential (pure indica) and Martian Mean Green (mostly sativa). As for the pineapple express, it's speculated to be Cinderella99xG13 Haze, but it's not listed. I'll be running 3 LA Woman and 3 Pineapple Express next round on a 3-4 week veg.

Nice looking plants SG. Nice photos too. I have a LA Woman freebie seed, would you recommend it? +Sub'd
LA is a nice growing plant, HUGE stems and fan leaves. My mother is huge, almost 5 feet tall now. Can't contest to the smoke yet, but I should have a small sample here in a few weeks so I can let you know how she tastes. Likes to grow single cola style so its great for sog. FIM was a failure on this one, but it took to topping fine.

This gave me a good chuckle
Round 1

Round 2

Doin' a tad better this round I'd say ;)

Thanks for stoppin by. Your photography makes me drool :D Don't worry too much about the leaves tho. I toasted some my first round and it didn't even effect the buds. Maybe a little less productive but not much of a loss. I was considering getting one of those light diffusers because of height issues or I could just stop being lazy and move my carbon filter

nice grow man. like the photos. the one that was pressed against the light gave me a laugh. and the bug looks like a stink bug. hate those little fu@kers.

Yeah shes really mashing into the glass, no burn on the buds though, just growing like a bulb on the top of the cola... should make for a interesting nug when shes finished haha. No more bugs lately :leaf:

what a difference, in round two! now for the strong finish!
Fan leaves are hanging in there strong. Some of the stuff underneath is starting to die back, but the hairs are just starting to turn. I think the stars are aligned for greatness. 2.5 weeks will tell!

Day 42 Flower - 4/16:
Another rez change right on time...all over this shit this time, no deficiencies for me yet :D => :bigjoint: =>:eyesmoke:=>
the bit of yellowing you see on some leaves is due to bleaching, can't get the light up anymore though. It seems pretty minor, don't see any major damage.

Good news. GF let me setup another space in the hall closet for the clones. They're going into pots and starting the veg now. 2 weeks on the harvest, can't wait. I'm considering doing a partial harvest and letting the lower stuff go an additional week or two. Guess it will depend on how the clones do/when they are flower ready. The goal is to eliminate downtime in the flower space.

Wow, those buds look delicious!:bigjoint:I am definitely enjoying your thread. I am a new grower with limited space and funds so it is nice to see what can be done with a fairly simple setup and a good brain;-). Keep up the good work.

Glad to have you along. It started as a 700 dollar investment and quickly snowballed to 2k lol. You doing a journal or have a place to check our your plants?
