Plasma lights are now available in case you guys didn't know. Check out http://www.chameleongrowsystems.com/ These lights are expensive but they come closest by far of duplicating the sun's rays.
Also of interest is Sears and Kmart's plan to carry hydro gear. This will bring hydro to the mainstream and will likely lower costs and improve products much quicker than what we've seen in the past.
