sealing leak for recirculating system

for all u master plumbers or diy pros whats the best fool proof way to join a pipe <any kind> to a bucket with no leak?

if using pvc use pvc glue, if its just a minor leak go out and get som "100% silicone sealent" make sure it says sealent

Bulkhead fittings, the ones that screw tight, grommets and connectors are ok only if you have proper sized drill bits. silicon sucks, in the plumbers section there should be pvc glue, its greenish blue stuff made specifically for drinking water

i've been using pvc cement and am getting small leaks. I think I might just use coolers to house plants. I've found some that have holes that you can screw into with pvc threaded pieces. thanks for replies.

Uniseals work best for curved surafces. They are also cheaper than bulk heads.
