I am planning a sealed grow but do not quite understand exactly what a "sealed" room entails....here is what I plan on using in my room?

3x1000w hybrid MH400w/HPS600w bulbs with a water cooling system

Co2 bucket/refill system

I have a vertical/circular setup

The dimensions of the room are 8L x 5.5 w x 7.5 H

I am feeding the nutes and water with a sow drip system

I am using a water cooled system for the lights as well

I have 70+ ladies what size reservoir do I need to use?

440 cfm Panasonic Whisperline

Vaportek4000 and a 440cfm scrubber

any and all help is greatly accepted and appreciated :) :bigjoint::wall::eyesmoke:bongsmilie

Sealed room is pretty simple. You aren't pushing air in and you aren't sucking it out. A sealed room is no place to cut corners on whatever you are doing for c02 though. I have never used a bucket system so I can't comment too much on it. I use compressed c02 and a CAP PPM3 C02 controller for my sealed room.

"Sealed" refers to air tight.... or almost air tight anyways.

Not an easy thing to accomplish. Especially in an older house.

If your grow room is already dry walled (including the ceiling) than you really only need to seal up any windows and place weather stripping around the door(s) and a good sweep on the bottom.

If you can smell your crop outside the growroom you still have leaks and may need to use poly on the walls and ceiling.

Great thanks guys do either of you have experience with drip lines and if I need multiple reses or if there is a number per plant like every for every 20 i should have a certain size rez sorry if I seem like a rook...but I am hehe and I am second guessing myself more and more the more i complete. Thanks again for the information.

I've never set up a drip system before but I would imagine your gonna need a pretty big res for 70 plants. Lets say your dripping 1L/day/plant, so a 70L container is only going to give you a one day supply...

I should add, the 1L/day/plant figure is just a guess, might be more, might be less. I very highly doubt its less though...

We seem to be using similar things are going a similar route.

I haven't updated the post because I am still working on the room. I just put in a window AC unit today and filled my co2 tank up. Holes in the ceiling are the only thing keeping my room sealed and they are easy to cover up. I am spending every waking moment on this room and now I just have the small things to go and to take care of the babies. I will update soon but good luck and post your results as you go!:bigjoint:
