Sealed Grow Room - What do I need?

Anyone know or use a good brand for a CO2 burner that is cooled? I see ones that are water cooled but hard to find them in stock and was wondering if there where others.

You don’t need a cooled burner. The 3tons of AC will cool the room just fine even when the burner is on ;-)
It gets 100F++ where i’m at in Northern California during the summer and that formula works for me. Sound’s like your building is insulated pretty decent so you’ll be good with the 3ton.

Ditch the DE lights and get some quality LED lights, will save you $ in the long run and a lot cooler to run. Which means less headache dealing with heat and humidity.

Setting up a sealed room myself, or semi sealed. I’m in about 10x8 space 2-1kDE and 2-315cmh.

will be running tanks, looking for a used 2 burner or 4 burner generator in the future, but I got a smokin deal on the controller/regulator/tank and I can likely resell it when I find a good burner.

Do not underestimate the need to cycle air periodically. I have an exhaust fan and makeup air fan that will run 5 minutes every 4 or 6 hours. Outside air comes through a louver that has a 4” thick furnace filter installed in a filter rack, exhaust is run through a carbon filter and exhausted out.

good controllers, fail safe controls and alarms are a good idea, especially if it is adjoining a living space. For example co2 alarm goes off and room exhausts, therefore not killing you. OP is in an out building so that islikely not an issue.

I’ll likely get a mini split soon, but I’ll be running a modified portable AC in the meantime. Not the best, but I have 3 of them that have been given to me over the years and I’ll make it work. I’ll likely only need a 1 ton split, but if my load were larger I would definitely consider multiple systems vs a 2 zone, again think of everything that possibly could go wrong and build fail safes in place.

VERY IMPORTANT - Make sure that the split system will operate in low temps, some will not. That would suck in Michigan

humidifier and dehumidifier on controls, easy enough

Great answer and thank you. One question, and apologies for my noobness but what is the purpose of a humidifier if you need a dehu to get moisture out of the air? would you just not run the dehu as high to let moisture build up etc?

Sometimes you need both, especially when targeting specific VPD range. If you haven’t done so already do a little reading about vapor pressure defecit.
