one of my buddies runs 10 plants per light with 1000 watts in sea of green he pulls nice. he runs allot more lights then you though. i have another buddy who vegs a single plant under a 600 watter till its nice and big and he pulls atleast 1/2 pound per light usually 3/4. it takes forever to veg tho a long long time. i would suggest getting like 20-30 clones, stick them under your light, veg them till there 1.5 feet tall, top them back to 1 foot, wait a week then flip. this could be your benchmark weight. one problem newer growers (myself included) have is that you want to do research and development on how to grow plants your own way, this isn't the best way to go about it at first. you should try to stick to one method (preferably with the help of someone who has grown before, its great to have someone with experience on your side) for awhile get a few harvests under your belt then try to make gradual adjustments to your setup as you go. as far as the sog vs fewer bigger plants, you can run into more problems vegging out a plant for a long time due to plants getting to big for your room, also it takes much much longer. with sog you throw all your stuff under your lights veg for 2 weeks max and flip, so the process is much shorter which means you'll have nugget in your jar faster. as far as weight differnce goes, its not to different one way or the other. one of my friends grew 2 plants in one room under 2 1000's and pulled about 3 pounds off of them, they were big plants, strawberry sour d and da purps from thc seeds.
