sea of green help

hi guys,
just about t ostart my first grow using the sea of grren if i cn, just wanted some advice on whats best.
we have a metre square growing tray in a 1.2 metre square tent for growing, 600watt hps. the growing medium is hydroton expanded clay with a topsoil of coco, im also using a flood and drain watering system. i need to know how mny cuttings would fit the space andhow long i should veg for to get a good sea going. i've got plenty of space, the tent is over two metres tall, just dont want to grow for longer than i need to.
the nutrients ive got are coc A and B and i have an extractor fan with a filter to keep any smell under control too.

any help would be useful, cheers guys

We need deetz on the cuttings, a lot of the benefits of SOG is not having to veg long if at all. Are your cuttings rooted well? Do you have a lot of cuttings? If your cuttings are well rooted and you have a lot (I'd put 36 in there) you can throw them straight into 12/12 with no veg at all.

hope u got ur cloning down pat.. nuthing worse then needing to refill ur trays on ur timely schedual, but dont have any roots... trus me, gets stressful!!! sog stands for "sik of growing"... tooo much work!!! sure, well rewarded but its just too much especialy in large numbers... working with 1 lamp is hassels too cuz the new batches r gonna stretch unless u use bushmaster or another node stacker... also if ur only useing 1 tray, how u gonna give each stage the approprate nutes or flush or harvest??? the new plants will get burned from strong nute doses and old plants wont get enuff if u lower it for the new guys.. and how u gonna harvest and replace once all the roots r intangled with eachother??? cant jus cut it off the stem cuz the roots will rot and fuck shit up... with ur set up i would suggest using 2 trays that can be adjusted for a even canopy... 8 week indicas and harvest every mnth

SOGs dont have to be rotating SOGs. Crop at a time and you dont have to worry about tangling roots in a hydroton table.
