Scrogging indica

I have a super iced grapefruit at 4 weeks old from seed transplanted from a solo cup to a 2 gallon smart pot at the 2 week mark. I want to veg it for like 8 weeks and scrog it out. I plan to transplant it to a 5 gallon smart pot at the 6-6.5 week mark. I topped it once already at the 5th node at 3 weeks old. My problem is it's staying really bushy with short branches and I'm finding it hard to lst for the future scrog. I can only think I could top it again to keep it shorter and promote wider growth. What do you think?

Personally I'd pull those tops out with lst while the stem is still somewhat flexible. Set yourself up for a wider base and let the shoots even the canopy, then top those.. You want to get it as wide as you can before the stem hardens off.. It's a bitch to try in spread a plant once the stem has hardened off, you just end up splitting branches at all the topping points
