Hello all, so I recently posted this in the general marijuana forum. Woops. Anyhoo this is my first scrog and im sort of unsure as to when I should begin to flower. I understand when the majority of the screen is filled out you should generally flip the switch, but I havent seen any with 3 branches per node as I have. Im growing in a smaller box and like all of us, I would like to get the most I can out of it. So if anyone has experience with this I would really appreciate some input! Thanks

Hey dude. Nice scrog you got there. I am doing my next grow with scrog, so I am wondering are your seeds feminized? If not, how do you deal with males?

I think that due to the size of the container holding your dirt your roots are not ready. (I can tell from the way your dirt looks) I could be wrong of course. I find when the plant can suck all the water an nutes within a day it does much better then if it sits for 3 days or more between waterings.

That being said I would bend your plants in half and start actually scrogging your plant, since its only growing under a screen in the photo.

edit--- I'd say a week or two then flip. It would also do well now, it's up to you. I think my scrog plants do best when then they are weaved into the screen for about a week

If they are males pull them and burn them, or just plant them another place away from ur females.

Thanks, yes I buy all feminized. I dont have enough space to be messing with males and having to start over.

Thanks for the reply! I will be giving it another week or so, but ughh I no im kicking myself for how I did this. This is my first scrog next time ill be sure to train them in advance. Btw I added 2 inches or so of soil like 3 weeks ago so it may not look normal for the age of the plant.

Looks good. I would keep training under the screen for a couple more weeks or untill 3/4 of your screen holes are filled in before you flip. I just did a scrog and it worked great. Just be patient, it is worth the wait. :)

Okay ill be giving her another week or so, would like to go longer but on a tight schedule and can only get one more grow in for a little while. Thanks for the advice! Ill be posting some new pics tomorrow sometime.

Ok guys sorry it took so long, alot has changed since the last post. I invested in a tent, so much better!!! Started stinkin so I gotta phresh filter and couldnt be happier. Anyways yesterday was 1 week into flowering and looking good thus far. While moving her into the tent I broke her main branch but she made a full recovery! Love this strain, gone through alot and still looking great!! Anyone got any info on a whorled phyllotaxy harvest, just curious! :weed:

So 3 weeks in I threw a 600 watt hotilux on her. Lookin good nugs are already fattening up nicely will post pics later for anyone interested!! Happy smokin

So today is 4 weeks into flowering, had the 250 hortilux on her for the first 3 weeks, and the 600 ever since. This is my first grow using hid's so anyone wana take a guess on the weight, im curious as to what you guys think!! Any input is appreciated, thanks!! bongsmilie
