Hey guys, so i'm growing some blueberry, and shes a big fat beautiful bush, and i was going to scrog her, and got it all set up and shes going her way into the screen but it got me thinking. There are so many shoots that wont make it to the screen because of how i tied her down, and i know how much more a scrog is said to produce, but is it worth it? A plant this bushy with so many tops, is it really better to scrog?

Look at the pictures, I might just be crazy, but while i was putting the bitch in place i was realizing how much wasn't getting used.

feel free to comment on the grow as well,
my apologizes for the bad quality.

Oh and one more thing. Any advice on when to put her into flowering. Fat indica, screen should be about 80 percent full in a few days, leaf tips are only about and ince thru the screen now.

hey bro. im not no expert, but heres what i can tell ya:

For scrog, you normally should veg the plant into the screen from about 2 weeks. Also from this time you cut off all lower branches that are going to waste the plants energy.

So all those little buds that wont make it to the top, you cut them off so the plant can focus its energy on the large top buds.

Oh and leave 2 weeks for the plant to heal from you trimming before you put it to flower

as killahd said but when you trim lower canopy ie under screen doit a little bit at a time so not to cause too much stress an make them hermie on ya later,

also do not weave, twist branches in opposite directions when they get about 2" -3" above the screen pull them back down through the holes an point them the way you want it to go,

an when your screen is about 60-70% full do a flip depending on how much your strain stretches in flower as you know they still stretch for 2-3 weeks maybe longer,so if your strain stretch for 3 weeks i would flip 12/12 when your about 60% filled

keep lots of airflow above an under the cannopy so not to induce budrot etc
this is what i have learned on my first scrogg i think its right if i am wrong someone will correct me
