SCROG or top/"supercrop" + LST for auto

Hello everyone!

On my second grow with autos. I am growing Dark Devil by Sweet Seeds: sativa dominant hybrid that can reach (according to breeder) up to 80-120cm. My 60x50cm closet have approximately 1m height from top o the pot to my COB LED light at upper position.
So, seed had broke the ground 4 days ago and plant (being a long time flowerier) growing faster then my previous autos.

My question is the best way to keep low:
1. To build a SCROG net: at what hight from top of the pot?, will my space be enough to fit that big plant through the stretch?
2. To top or "supercrop" (brake main stem to stop vertical grow, but leavet on the plant) and use LST to separate side branches: when and where to top the plant?

What are your thoughts? Any opinion is appreciated, thanks!

Many say dont top autos but Ive always topped mine. After topping I use lst. Ive had great success with this method. I was told by many because of their fixed internal clock that autos would not have enough grow time ti recoop from the topping. But as u can see they did great. My first plant produced 251.3 grams of fantastic bud. Don't be affraid to experiment with your autos. If u feel its good to try then try it.20181216_085628_HDR.jpg 20181215_000136_HDR.jpg

I find it is strain dependent if the hybrid leans more towards the sativa then I top if it is the other way around and is more indica dominant than I normally stop at lst.The Sativa dominant strains tend to have a longer cycle imo and therefore have more time to recover.

You'd be surprised how many are actually more in favor of topping than you think. It comes down to the situation. Small or unhealthy? Nope don't touch. 3 weeks old green and 5-6 nodes? Cut her up.
At which point of a plant should I cut? Betwin whichnodes? And wouldn't it be to close to start of flower and stretch at week 3?

When do you top? Where?

Thanks, everyone!

Some plants will be by 3 but others closer to 5. Hard to know what you can do unless you've grown them before. I feel like a safe bet the bigger they are in height from breeder means closer to 5 weeks before flower. So cut at 3, and it has 2 weeks to recover. Cut at 3/4 or 5th node whichever you prefer.

I topped 6 jock horror and 6-8 blue mystics then super cropped because I didn't know people said that's a no no . Well these plants all got huge in 5 gallon buckets and I have done that ever since with all my autos ..chop , bend , top , i'm rough on them but once they start budding I leave them be

+1 for topping. These plants have serious nitro toxicity so ignore that, but you can you guess which plant was topped? Only topped one on this round.

Girl is 2 weeks from breaking the soil today. Decided to go LST way as she showed pistils in age of 1,5 week. So I am expecting stretch to kick off soon.
Thanks everyone for advices and opinions. Will keep you posted on my progression.

Today is exactly 3 weeks seance she broke the soil.
I used soil from my previous grow with added flowering soil with bat guano and perlite. Then I watered it with full strength growing nutes. So my concern is should I give her some more grow nutes or keep her on water only?
