You have to expect to pay around $1 per watt for quality lighting.
The SpiderFarm SF4000 or the Mars Hydro ts3000 would be ok.......you will need two of them because they are only 450 actual watts each.

With the correct lighting you should easily yield 3lbs.

When people give you yield amounts.......it's always dry weight.

Other than maintaining a good environment.......lights are the most important part of your equipment for a good yield with quality buds.

My light was $1200 dollars........paid for itself the first grow because I yielded enough quality bud to last over a year for me.

I grow in coco so my plants grow super fast.
The pic I posted when I switched to flower at 23 days from sprout had 5 plants........2 of them were male so I ended up with 3.
I yielded 19.4 oz. off those 3 plants.......would have been 25 if I had one more plant in there.
I normally only veg 3-4 weeks and depending on strain, each plant usually produces 6-8 oz. each.

Some great results then ! Excuse my ignorance but does a ts3000 use 3x as much electric as my ts1000 ?? I need these results !

Well the ts1000 is 150 watts and the ts3000 is 450 watts.......so, yes.
You can't pay much attention to what the manufacturers name their lights or their claimed coverage.......it's all false and misleading marketing. They lead people to believe that their 150w light replaces a 1000w HPS.
Power draw from the wall is what matters.

If you were to use the old blurple lights you would need 50 watts per sq. ft. instead of 30 for quantums.

Ahhhh oky mate thankyou .
Not sure I could risk the electric costs ! I’ll try the scrog method and see what happens this time .
Maybe if I can get light all over this time rather than a couple of good tops maybe I can come out with some extra this time !
