SCROG net help.

Hello. I'm looking for a strong SCROG net.
The nets from Secret Jardin are way to elastic, the holes are way to big IMO and all the stores where I live only sell that brand...

Any help is appreciated.

My tent is 90x90cm.

Care to build your own re-usable nets? Use 1" x 1" wood trim, 4 angle brackets to attach the wood pieces, 3/4" wood screws spaced about 2.25" apart and some parcel twine.

You most likely will cut some of the netting to harvest when you weave the branches. No problem - 250' replacement rolls of twine are $5. With the wood screws, it's pretty easy and quick to restring the frame. And you can make the twine pretty tight too.



I will use 2 of these 2' x 2' wood frame nets in my 2' x 4' tent spread 2 plants to cover corner to corner.

That net you described is a trellis net.....not a scrog net. Scrog nets are pulled tight so the plant can be trained to grow horizontally under the net, with 2" - 3" openings
I made mine out of pvc and mason line.

Roger that. Thank you, BTW. Wood trim or PVC work great as a solid frame for a SCROG net.

I can get the twine pretty snug with the wood frame with almost zero slip during the grow. I bet you can get your twine pretty tight with the PVC tube?

Trellis never heard that before, learn something new everyday.

I don't have the time to build and find material for a scrog net, so I'll change my question.

Anyone know of a good trellis net for Scrog, I had a good one years ago but can't remember the brand?

SCOG PRO Kits on Amazon or hydrobuilder or Growbuds.com has scrog kits prittey pricie a lot cheaper to build one yourself and they really don’t take long to make quicker then waiting for them to send it assemble it and put into space imo

Check your local garden stores for mesh or net that has 2.5-3" squares.
Usually if you try and google for scrog nets you get the same old shit not fit for purpose.

Or just build one like starecase, its a 30minute job.

I just built one last week, took me less than an hour.

I used 4 pcs of 1x1 lumber, a bunch of 1" screws and some string.

I have lots of the store bought netting, but im not a fan of the 3.5"+ hole sizing, i made mine with 2.5" holes and love it. Ill use the 3.5" stuff for a support trellis once they start packing on weight and falling all over themselves.

Closer to 1 hour. It took me an extra few minutes to re-locate my drill and the correct bits.

1x1 trim makes some sturdy and lightweight SCROG frames.

At the start of this grow, I ran out of the Fox Farm/Botanicare nutes (GROW BIG, TIGER BLOOM and Cal-Mag) and decided to try the Remo line (GROW, BLOOM, MICRO and MagNiFiCal). I didn't need a support trellis when I grew with the FF nutes. A support trellis sure looks like it's needed with the Remo line. The buds are beefier.

When I reboot the grow in late summer, I'll grab some of the 3.5" mesh for bud support late in flower.

Make your own net; see on the pic how I rig a mounting frame and use string lengths 3-4x the size of the net and spacing needed.

I use PVC coated metal fencing from Menards. Its 2 feet wide with 2 inch x 3 inch openings. My fabric pots have little loops on the corners to hold 3/4 inch dowels or 1/2 pvc pipe. The screen it attached to the pipe pieces with zip ties. The fencing is rigid enough to support and weave the branches through. It's also flexible enough that you can shape it into a curve, if you like, as well. And it's also cheap and reusable.
