SCROG, how close should I have my plants?

I will be doing a scrog in a 4x8x6.5 grow tent under 2x1000 watt lights in an aero-garden. I was going to keep my plants 16 inches apart, which would give me 24 plants in my tent. However I recently read that you want fewer plants with SCROG than with SOG. Will 24 be too high for a nice yield? I would like to get as much as I can of course. Also I plan on vegging for 3 weeks.

You would be wasting plants to scrog them that tight together. You wanna double that spacing IMO. If you go 16" apart, that's really only 8 inches of scrog net around the plant, because the next plant will eat half that spacing.

A scrog will give you maximum yield, with minimal plant, but. If you don't give them enough space, your wasting time and yield. You might as well just SOG it do some LSTing and allow them to be.

Just check the height with your hand. Put your hand at the canopy of the plants. If your hand feels warm then its too close for the plants.
