SCROG Afghan Kush ?

Hi first new grower here and first time posting in here. (Please be nice) :lol:

Any way I started off with 12 Afghan seeds ended up with 6 from those 12 all in soil, Now into 4th week of veg, Every thing seems to be going fine.
Am vegging under 200watt T5 and 4 130watt CFLS.

Have been doing some research on Scrogging, And this looks like the best option for me as my space isnt so big. Just never seen it done with Afghans as they are not a overly leafy strain and seem to just grow up instead of out.

Have a 400wat HPS for when i flower in my 1.2/1.2/2M tent.

Has any one done this with a AFGHAN plant before any info would be great and i will upload some pics when i figure out how.

These wouldn't happen to be from worldofseeds? I've got 7 fem afghan kush seeds that I'm very excited to start growing in about 2 weeks.


I plan on doing a DWC Scrog so this will be helpful.

Hey Ice Cubz. There not i got them from local grower he had 20+ and just gave them to me. From what i have read Afghans are one of the best plants for a newbie to start off with as they are very hearty and hard to kill.

Afghani works with scrog bro!
I currently have 4 under 600w led
Only 1 is scrog check her out she is a beauty! This was week 1 of flowerimage.jpeg

That was my first strain n method i ever grew with, pic is my avatar lol n we got same name haha. Still got it in my garden too lol. I used 30 gallon garbage cans for each light then made scrog nets from pvc. Oh good old days. Need any help just hollar.

My afghan strain was very bushy, tight nodes and thick indica leaves... good smoke, smells like fruity pebbles. Its probably your cfls that are making her strech like that. Start topping and switch to hps asap imo

Crazy right? Lol. Thanks, I appreciate all the tips I can get! Lol. She's the momma to 3 clones that are also flowering week 4 now!image.jpeg

Youll get twice as much bud if you top the hell outta them and put into screen. But it helps to be familiar with strech of the strains

I have done scrog's with afagnica afgoo,so it can be done,infact it can be done with any strain

Fosho thanx for the tip! I only topped the momma once, looks like I'll be getting a decent yield bt the next one will be better! Haha
