This is one of my babies.
I think I'm going to need to support it when it gets bigger.

I want to build a table type frame with metal mesh as the table top. My question is how big should my support be, how tall above the plant should it be, and what should the length and width be? I'm going to use 2X4's for the construction and a section of fencing for the mesh top, kinda like this...

I'm using the Fox Farms line-up... haters gonna hate.... but it's workin for me! I have a few others going, but they aren't bushes like this beast. I topped it at like a month old, let the shoots grow a bit then tied the 4 main shoots down so the plant was like an X and eventually topped each "arm" again. Vegged it out a little longer inside then did the last transplant to a 12??? gallon storage tote that I cut holes in the bottom of, added some gravel at the bottom to help with drainage and filled it with a 50-50 mix of FFOF and MG Organic Potting soil. I added some zip ties at the corners to use bread ties (adjustable) to tie the plant down to, and all is well! I will definitely keep ya updated! thanks for the sub.

Here is half the line-up. The bush is Jack H. The middle photo is AK-48, and the one with the spray bottle is Northern Lights Blue.

gonna go out a little later today and try to set something up. I was reading your thread and saw what you said about the rain and not having to water... we must be neighbors! haha... cuz I've been having the same problem. Overcast today with a huge chance of showers... I decided to go with a nylon net that I'll tie to some stakes and adjust as needed.

I just went out with some 4 foot bamboo stakes and started tying some of the branches down on all the plants.:leaf:

I also did a gallon each of some nutes / water, but forget the memory card in my computer for my camera:wall:.

So, I will snag some pics lil later this week after the have filled in a little more...
