I didn`t vote for him. He left office with a 64% approval rating so someone thought he did well. He did manage to cut taxes to about 25% and create jobs while improving the economy. By the mid 80`s the economy had turned completely around. He was right about the Gov. being too big and spending too much. Now look today as that continued. My grandkids`s kids will owe. He had a strong relationship with Russia and contributed to the end of the cold War. His foreign policies were respectable, Obama`s are non existing. The only thing the two have in common are acting.
I guess you also didn't study what he did very well. "Improved the economy"?? That's not difficult after he caused the recession of 82.

He was popular because he was a movie star, and that's why idiot voters liked him.
