Good to see you have surfaced again bud. Welcome back.

The 3 91 Skunk VA x Granny Skunk, freebies at @greatlakegenetics. They are putting on a good stretch for a late planting. Similarities between all 3 is almost like a worked line.

Running these side by side with the Skunky VA, I would be hard pressed to choose between them, growth wise I like the way these have developed. Until the last couple days these were my choice but the smells of the Skunky VA are making it impossible to choose, I look forward to the real test, the smoke off.

Gorgeous plants! You're really in tune with what they want. I've been having F2 lines that even come out as if they are F4 finished products. I wonder what's going on with my male selection for it to keep happening with different pairings.

Smoke off is always the final arbiter. :mrgreen: Good to know the freebie seeds can hang with the Skunky VA. Thanks for all the updates and pics.bongsmilie

Thank you. She does have the spear colas.

I am interested in and have observed this as well. Or at least I think I have. Just couldn't put it in to words. Basically,the plants metabolic rate/process can differ all over....

Is this an example of the theory?
Buds lower than the canopy or not in direct canopy light,yet they are as big or just as developed as the buds getting the majority of the photons?

I've had some plants that seem to have an ability to distribute its development more uniformly regardless of inconsistent lighting, and others that have lackluster results on branches not getting solid lighting. Some plants get "tan lines" where the shaded buds are lime green relative to the darker, well lit tops. Others are uniformly green all over, even in shaded areas. Seems like will many characteristics, it's strain/pheno dependent.

It is still early but I am smelling new tires mixed with raspberry. I would expect the fuel smell soon, but not yet.

Yeah, I have a short and a tall one and both are giving the same types of smell. A little bit rubber and a little bit fuel. I never caught the rasberry smell, that would be interesting. Not getting any citrus smell either.

The Skunky Brewster really has the magic wand of frostiness. I kept 2 males from that Skunky B's, but have only been using one of them. I have to (at some point) do an open pollination of the Skunky Brewster (kept 4 females). I already have a BX of 2 of my favorite Skunky B females using the Skunky D (Chem D x Skunky B).
