Scammed by Attitude Seed Bank

The important message here is that there is evidence of increased confiscations happening with orders from Attitude. If you order from them you should get the guarantee, sold as "stealth shipping".

I feel screwed after having an order confiscated by customs, but that is because I didn't realize that this was a problem and relied on the seller to figure out how to get the seeds delivered. Well, you need to pay extra for this service, they are not like amazon. Not clear to me why anyone would stand behind the optional 'guarantee' (stealth shipping=guarantee???) policy at attitude. I have ordered from them in the past but will not use them again, there are better run seed businesses.
If.you use the promo.code 420.and get 10% off.your order, it pretty much covers the cost of shipping, so long as you spend $100 obviously ..

Customs took your seeds. Attitude did it's job. If you would have taken two minutes and read, you would have realized you needed to get the guarantee.
Yea, we all know Attitude could step up it's stealth, that's why you get the guarantee. But to call a business a scam because they didn't do your thinking for you is not right.

Now that make the most sense out of all the complaint posts. WHY they would charge extra for "stealth" shipping is beyond me. Knowing as we do that what we purchase is considered contraband, I would THINK that each and every order would be filled and packaged for a reasonable certainty of delivery. That would be MY business model anyway.

Attitude does not charge extra for stealth. You are paying for the guarantee. Remember, they are not breaking international law, you are. Cannabis seeds are not contraband there. I suppose they could jack prices to cover the cost of shipping all packages with guarantee. How much do you want to pay for seeds?
Listen, read his post's about Attitude. He doesn't have even basic comprehension about how anything works.

Oh believe me I've read this whole thing. And many others just like this. I've never done business with a seed bank, so I don't have a dog in this fight. But I refuse to believe that the Attitude deliberately screws people. They may well have some really shoddy business practices, bad customer service, etc. But they maintain a pretty large chunk of the market. They did not get that with a "fuck 'em" mentality. These forums are too brutal for that to happen. I believe they need to tighten up on customer service & shipping practices but I do not believe they actually are a "scam".
As for them not breaking any laws, last I heard Marc Emory was perfectly legal there in Canada. Ask him what HE thinks. They are breaking laws and treaties by shipping here as well.

Bottom line here is, if you don't like Home Depot....go to Lowes.

Thank you so much for agreeing about the corruption. Look guys, this member has over 1,000 posts and he agrees that attitude is a scam. Are you guys going to attack him now like you did me? I sure hope not.

^I was nothing but polite with them from the start, when I mentioned there being no signature on the package I phrased it in the most respectful way possible. They told me to send pictures like I was going to get a refund. After the pictures were sent they then decided to tell me I wasn't getting a refund.

On an unrelated note, a post count has nothing to do with someone's IQ. I've seen idiots tarnish people on many different forums simply because they have a low post count. Have some respect, I haven't been able to log into my old account.
So in your OP you state their is a signature (it can be one letter, a thumb print, anything. A signature does not have to be your full name) and now you are claiming that there wasn't a signature. Right. But of course, they intentionally fucked up the label because they knew they were selling you duds so that customs would get them and you wouldn't be able to complain. Right.

I now feel pretty damned bad for the other seedbanks who are going to have to put up with having you as a customer.

Bingo, haven't heard many complaints on Herbie...whose ad I just saw at the top of the page here.

You should have seen this place when Attitude was the main sponsor, every time they lapsed on customer service this section went ballistic.

Technically speaking Marc wasn't competely legal in Canada. But it's only a technicality as the laws he broke are NEVER enforced at any level, those same laws refer to paraphernalia which is openly sold everywhere in this damn country from gas stations to grocery stores.

It's just ridiculous he's still locked up when there are more seeds coming out of the USA in the last 5 years then out of Canada in the last 20.

As for the attitude they are a business, but they are still people, these threads are always started with a severely bad tone, if you can't even make a thread about it in a controlled manner then I would hate to see the emails sent to customer service. If you treat people in customer service bad you get no where, a lot of the time their managers will stand behind them. There is no reason to be rude with them WHEN YOU BROKE THE FUCKING LAW ORDERING THE PACKAGE IN THE FIRST PLACE it's part of the risk of making the order. Sorry for yelling but god damn man. These little I order 1 bean kids and bitch on a forum just need to be banned outright. People should have to start showing proof of their orders or something this is getting out of control. If you can't afford to lose a $10 bean then get guaranteed, if the guaranteed is more then your order you're doing it wrong. It's that simple.

I wish Attitude employees would log in here 1 time every 6 months and hit us with the best emails they get from people, heavily redacted of course to respect their privacy, I would just love to see what all these half wits say and expect to get results out of people who could extremely easily say "go fuck yourself"

edit : I'm 99% sure my order is snagged. It's been 3 weeks I emailed the 'tude they said hit us back if it's not their by the 25th. So I will tomorrow if it's not here. My beans are out of stock. We will see how it goes. They have always responded to my emails immediately and politely, I've never had to deal with their refunds so we'll see how that goes.

I would think that a seed bank would be WAY too dependent on these forums to fuck around. We ARE their customer base, and we DO share info.........many times TMI!!! Hey Sunbiz!! How ya been?

I emailed Attitude when considering doing business with them and they stated that if my seeds were seized I would get a resend if I provided a picture of 'the customs letter' I know for a fact (as attitude would) that we do not get 'the customs letter' in this country :)

Missed you here, you were my mentor a while back!

IMO, Attitude does suffer from customer service lapses...but they have stood the test of time. And it appears their stealth packaging isn't working, plus they are now red-flagged by customs on and off.

I'm good!, responded 2/PM.:peace:

Yep, that's why I never, ever post pics of shipping methods on this site.

All that does is create more problems for both seller and buyer.

If your talkin the US, some get the letter, some don't. But I know of people that took pics of package with green customs tape and that was accepted.
