Say These Were Your Plants

They can take it. I have seen on here where people will have them in a cup when they are that size and will put something like rubberbands across the top of the cup so that the leaves are pushing up against them, i guess it makes them real squatty. Every strain is different. Just don't get to silly, let common sense prevail, and everything will be just fine. And if it seems like a bad idea, most of the time it is.

They are nice and squat. I've seen plants that have been LSTd with only the 1st set of leaves so I guess it depends on the growers prefrence.

I wait until they are in the pot that they are going to be in the rest of the grow. I have 3 pots I switch between, when I get to the biggest size I tie them down, I have holes I drilled in the rims so I can tie the branches down any place I might need.

You transplant each plant twice? That seems like a waste of your time and the plants growing time.

I guess my plants like it or something. A day after I transplant them they take off and grow faster than they did before I transplanted them. Also because of the soil I use (I use soil with moisture beads in it), I don't want to put them into to big of pots right away. It only takes me like a total of maybe 10 minutes to transplant my 6 plants, so I don't see it as a waste of time.

Back to the subject of the post, the beauty of LST is; you can't really do it to early, just don't push them to hard with the LST to fast and you'll be fine.

Or maybe you treat your plants like they're ATMs.
Seriously man, have some respect for another life.
If your running a warehouse, go ahead and start your plants however you want,
transplant as much or little as you want, but don't expect
the quality that comes from paying attention to individuals, and their needs.
Love and attention go a long ways.

Personally, I start them in either a very small flowerpot, or a jiffy pot square thing.

And I transplant them every time they get a little rootbound. Every container.
It makes their roots more dense, more root less dirt.

If you are impatient and not dextrous, then you could shock your plants
by transplanting, but if you're good at it, you can slide them out of their pot and into their dirt without a problem...

Good luck man, I would start LST now.
Are you going to tie it to the rim of the pot, or sink hooks in the dirt?

By the way I love the bushness of this one!

Thanks erveryone, I'll just wait a few days, I'm kinda busy at the moment anyways

I think I'll tie it to the edges of the pot.
I lucked out with how she filled out, originally the cfl I was using slipped and was resting on it, burnt 3 of the four leaves. It recovered real quick and turned out to be pretty sexy though

Hahaha yea I light fried a baby once, it turned into a super small BUSH.
Thing was like 10" tall, with like 15 internodes straight up, plus branches.
And was spitting out 13'ers at like 2mo.

Was a male though :/
