plants don't usually work off a schedule, they're finished when they're finished.
Not everyone agrees but imo, if 5wks have passed since you started 12/12 lighting you are really around week 3 flower. The first two weeks (give or take) would be preflower/budding/stretch growth stage which occurs when you first initiate 12/12. Once stretch slows/stops, buds are formed, you enter the true flower period.
I have found that counting weeks this way gets you much closer to the breeders estimate, but yea, also keep in mind when the breeder says a grow time that is in their environment, they cannot say yours will be the same.
That being said you are not even half way through flower and have many weeks to go

12 weeks of flower would be normal for a sativa.........possibly longer.
Pictures would help give you some feedback.

hi folks posted a thread yesterday and said satvias ment indica for blue kush, mine are monsters and are still growing well into flowering tomorow will be start of week 5 of bloom cycle and they are still climbing for the sky, growing under 2 1000 watt 8"" cool tube on 13 dark 11 light, in 2x2x1 tent, using vitalink range of nutes, work realy well, out going ppm is around 112 to 159 per plant have 7 plants, i know flowering is not exact and tends to go over the estimate, anyone else growen blue kush and have an idea of flowering time

looks good. Just let it ride out. Most strains take at least 65 days in flower.. seen some horror stories of 120+ days of flowering.
My longest run was a banana kush. 12 weeks 3 days. However it was the heaviest hitter I've grown so far.
I'm seeing side lighting.. do you rotate the plant periodically so it get's hit all the way around?

one on either side of tent ,7 plants in total, up threw scrog nets so cant rotate, believe there is more than enough light, dude to 1000 watt hps cool tube on top, 2 350 watt sun like 1 on either side, and am using a 100 watt in bloom mode to try and bring a slow grower up to same height, but yes i think you are spot on about yield, the buds i have are unreal am hoping for at least a 1kg dry weight off grow, i dont think it will be far off it, but thanks for comment

we can dream ha ha, but know were your coming from, near 2000 watts dude i get even a third of a gram a watt be happy dont need calmag as running hps lights
