Sativas are actually easier to grow

Xtsho,
Life has been crazy busy. I bought bridgelux gen 2 led strips so i am almost done building light (11 strips).
The zam x OLT is really good. I was able harvest almost 14oz from 2 plants. A nice get up and go high. The seeds i grew were created from ace seeds by another breeder. But i wanted seeds direct from ace to be sure. I am planning a breeding project with regular bangi haze, panama, and FEM malawi. First attempt at breeding (seeds that is LOL)... so the plan is BH (male) x pan, bh (m) x mal (f), BH x BH, PAN (M) x BH (F), PAN (M) x mal (F), PAN x PAN.

Does it really matter which Male or Female is used in the hybrid?

I have a line on Alien OG kush (fem) so i might throw that one into the pool.

I read the LEB is high in CBG so might put pressure on eyes. Good for glaucoma i think. I am waiting for the killer A5 haze from ace..restock in august and if they ever get Purple Satellite back (Oaxacan).

I may bite off more than i can chew but i tend to really over think the project. No where near your level.. You have some impressive breeding history.

I enjoy the no couch lock varieties as i have no sleeping issues. I love the sativas that make you think and enjoy life without comma state. But i have read lots of reports malawi is a cold, overpowering high that lasts a long time. Alcohol not recommended and not a daily high as some may be too psychedelic for some. Sounds good to me.

They do take some time. Nov seeds popped, jan flip to flower, beginning april harvest. Yup..6 months.. but i don't mind waiting for quality. Malawi is recommended to flip at 15 days from seed. I think clones may be a better option with recommendation to flip 7 days after clones rooted.

Old timer haze is even longer..too long for me. 14-20 weeks flowering.
