sativa VS indica

recently i got my hands on a mainly sativa plant ak47 and gave to some to my peeps and the feedback was most people didnt like it ,,,,they preferred the heavy body indica buzz .....so tell what you like and dislike

well I am how you do you say....a manic depressive....but for most like me its just personal preference. I love the indica high, its my favorite for sure, a strong strong indica just makes your whole body feel relaxed, a lot of people cant take the 100% sativa high its intense! I've seen many a lifetime smokers puff a couple hits of this hazee and just wig out and have to go home, but they couldnt because they were so paranoid or laughing so hard or whatever. Indica is what I stick to beucase I have chronic lower back pain, but when I'm going to see a movie or play some video games all night or go out for the night, gotta bust out the haze it makes me feel like I'm walking on clouds higher and higher, instead of eating a whole xl pizza and passing out in the cloud...lower and lower. they both have their places and uses. Its hard to say which is better, but if I had to I would choose indica high, but thankfully I dont have to

haha, thats what I left out!!! gotta wake n bake with that sweet smelling sativa it invigorates you! At bedtime I'll be passing out with a bowl of some stickyickyicky next to me!

Some Sativas can be fruity & sweet as well.

i second ASSRABI bout the morn vs. night

oh man!!! Ive seen mostly fruity sativas, when I get a pure sativa its almost sickly sweet with an indescribable fruity smell (the smell of the weed fruit!) The predominent indicas have herb or piney smells (I have some bomb herbs that smell just like sage, very stoney stuff!) also with Indica I tend to get a spicy smoky sensation in my mouth and on my lips, very enjoyable like a fine cigar or cigarette. Damn u RIP always making me light it up! I love bud!!!! light one up if your with us!

Oh man, this is easy, I go for the hybrids, best high you can get. You choose, I know the question was Sativa or Indica but in todays world as verses 1980s or 1990s
the choices now are never ending.

I agree with Budsworth.....I grow both. JUst coped some Herijuana for back pain & buzz & I got some Killa Sativa for party. But it AIN'T like the good old days....shit is so crossed now, the originals are damn near gone!

Well if Sativa is the stuff that gets you a energetic high like around friends and indica is sleepy weed.

why do they have to go head up? why can't the come together in perfect harmony? i love the sativa's effects especially the trippy ones. yet, i love the feeling of your whole body feeling like you woke up and one of your limbs is still asleep. i love to smoke a indica when i wake up, then go right back to sleep, simply the best sleep you can have. i vote for hybrids: 1.a sativa dominant 1.b indica dominant.

its actually nice to find buds on one side or the other. "now-adays" most of the bomb bud you get is a hybrid, maybe leaning to one side or the other a little, in my area most people really have no idea about sativa or indica.

oh come on shawa, its not about putting them head to head in the thunderdome. Its more about comparing the the subtle differences in the two and what people have to say on the differences. another little add on, what about ruderalis? I beleive ruderalis is autoflowering, never for sure had ruderalis bud...don't really know much about it. Anyone ever flowered a pure or dominant ruderalis? smoke report?

and crossing strains has become so prevelant and preffered, it feels like we've lost something with losing our pure bred strains of smoke. as I said most people I know don't even know the differences with indica and sativa. weed has become chronic or mersh (reggie, regs, mids, middies) whatever you call it, schwag. and now the new trend is slapping a fancy name on some bomb bud and selling it out as that, when in reality they just heard the name and used it cause it was catchy. Someone picks up some skunk x bubbleicious and buys it as "chronic" The kids like damn this is bomb and frosty, so he calls it WW and sells it out as WW another kid finds a bean and starts to grow a "WW" plant. thats the cycle you know, in america weed is becoming ambiguous because of the prohibiton on it. Its harder for connesiuers to enjoy the subtle differences that come with the hundreds of strains of bud.

Ruderalis is considered ditch weed I believe.
