With brick you just don't know what exactly you have. No idea about the parents. The bud the seed came from coulda been pollinated by a whole other strain, a hermie, or a lil runt male the farmer missed or just whatever. I've grown brick seeds. I have a keeper in my "just for me" tent. It's the shortest thing I grow. Very indica in structure but SOOO sativa in the high. You just don't know till you grow it out and smoke it. Fuck it, try it. Why not?

Good luck,
Polo.

I will have to try it to preserve a strain that started budding in June and is almost done. Fucking insane how early it started, I hope to use it with a thai or some long flowering Sativa to be able to finish 20+ week sativas. Do you think I will get some phenos out of it for early budding?

Also is my bud too ripe to pollinate? can I keep it going to let it make seeds? I have 4 colas I could pollinate one and cut the other 3?

Most Mexican brick weed is said to be around 60-90% sativa. You may actually have a Mexican landrace strain since over half of the cannabis being produced in mexico are native strains. Contrary to popular belief, brick weed is usually pretty good genetics! What you have there seems to me like it would fall into that 60-90% sativa category
