This summer i want to grow 20 plants in a old orchard and I am wondering if there is not enough time for them to grow all the way. I live in Northern Massacheusetts USA. Am I too far north for sativas?

i live in southern New Hampshire, our weather is close to identical. i usually put them out around 4/20 sometimes earlier sometimes later. last year the rain killed a lot of mine but i managed to get a few monsters around 6 or 7 ft. it would definitely help to start them inside, even in a window sill that gets good sunlight. Do you have experience growing or is this your first garden?

no satvias. people telling you other wise are wrong. I live in MA. Sativas take too long to bud to survive. Its gets mighty cold in october. My Thai last year had been budding for like 6 weeks before it had to come down because of the cold it needed at least another month.

20 plants seems like quite a lot.

Edit: we also put a couple big trash bags around the plant every day for a couple weeks to force it into flowering. If not for that i would of got nothing. and all i did get was more to make hash with.
