My sativas aren't budding at 12/12, so I switched to 10/14. I also have indicas. How will this affect THEM..?

IMO - If they're in the same space where they are sharing light - keep the light at 12/12

Curious - Where both strains started at the same time?

At 10/14, they started budding within 4 days. Now they are going bonkers. I figure it'll extend the grow by only a week to 10 days. It's a mixture of science, AND art. Actually, 1 still isn't budding. Fuck it. The more forums I read, the more I know that there are "experts" in complete opposition to each other, each with great results. It's all a grand experiment.

I have Mexican bag seeds that will not flower on 12/12, so I add an extra hour of darkness, which does the trick

Thats odd, ive never seen that. And have tested my weed at different night time lengths, found negative effects.
But what do you mean by wont flower, it stays vegging properly?
