Sativa, Indica

Is it true that you can control the outcome of the effect by harvesting at a certain time? I read that if you want more of a sativa effect to harvest earlier and for indica harvest later. Has anyone tried this and does it work?

meh.. fi you want a sativa effect, grow a sativa. indicas are known for their body high when harvested early, and couch lock high when harvested late.

okay, and im saying why harvest a pre mature plant. just grow what you want. no you cant grow OG kush and harvest early to get some kali mist, or strawberry cough. the answer is no.

You can however, look at your harvest window for individual strains to determine what kind of high you want from the bud, but that comes with experience and trial and error. once you have grown a plant a few times, harvested and smoked it a few times you know when you let your plant go too long because you cant motivate your ass after you hit the bowl, or you harvested to early, and the high isnt quiet what you expect/need.

savy?

Obviously to get the effect I want from it. I want more of a sativa effect. That is why I would harvest it early. I know I cant turn something into what it is not.

Thanks for the pic. :)

I undedrstand your question and yes harvesting a satuva earlier is supposed to "compliment" the type of high you get from it and vice versa with indicas.

You can't "change the bud" but a sativa harvested to late or indica to early won't "compliment" the high it provides. Make sens? Kinda hard to explain

Yeah I know. I just wanted to know if it was true because I really want to make mine more sativaish. I like the high.
