I love the shade of green that the plant has thats in with the catnip. Its one of those Chau Doc babies from the Mekong on the Cambodian border. The other (5 gallon bucket) is from Central Highlands, Dak Lak Province.

My theory is that the plants which are exposed to more intense sunlight have a more golden color to let more light through without baking the leaf. The serrations provide more leaf edge for more respiration surface. The chunkier serrations must be from strains that don't need to worry about water conservation as much.

I really need to get a degree in Botany/Cannabiny :bigjoint:
 
I hope I can get some additional advice here. I popped two freebies from nirvana and they look like some weird long flowering sativas to me. My question is, are these worth the time? Will the potency be worth the time it takes to flower a lanky sativa like this? Debating if I should throw them in the bin.

Freebies from nirvana. I prefer to smoke sativas but these plants look like they will take 20 weeks to finish. I am ok with that but I had heard that nirvana's freebies take forever to finish and they are not potent.

Yes but I also have plants I could throw in and they would finish faster. I am looking for someone who has grown out nirvana's freebies. All the journals online that i have found, nobody completed them. I am wondering if its because they suck balls.
