do the experiment and get back to meIf the ice cream is freely floating, it already displaces it's own mass in the fluid...
Isn't that the opposite to your point?

I hope you realize potato is not a number...Damn farmerYes, I , unlike yourself, can count higher than potato.
if we're so angry, why are you always complaining about what you saw the hispanic person at the grocery store buy?Why don't the liberals in RIU 'walk out' like the real ones do in congress?
Always angry, angry people.
You need to follow the advice of the great king.

"Because it just so ridiculous."if we're so angry, why are you always complaining about what you saw the hispanic person at the grocery store buy?
not to mention your undying fascination with all things homosexual, most specifically anus-related.
Again, if something like ice is freely floating, it already displaces its own mass, and due to expansion when freezing, would actually lower the height in the glass by between 8-10% of the mass of the ice.do the experiment and get back to me
you're welcome and I'll help you. I guess a melting ice cream cone just levels offAgain, if something like ice is freely floating, it already displaces its own mass, and due to expansion when freezing, would actually lower the height in the glass by between 8-10% of the mass of the ice.
And since youre a bit slow Ill spell it out... that means nothing would happen, the level would actually lower.
Why do you think I said...you're welcome and I'll help you. I guess I melting ice cream cone just levels off

Erhmahgerd, fersics! It all depends on if the ice cream is freely floating or not.
Dude I can see that you are clueless to what is an ice shelf and how sea levels can and will raise with the melting of them. Why do you think I said...
Erhmahgerd, fersics!
Ice, boats, whatever you want all displace their total mass in the liquid they reside in if they are freely floating.
You said it was freely floating, therefore, it would actually lower the level, because generally speaking ice has between 8 & 10% more volume, but the same mass.
If 'Neer was here, he'd kick your ass for not knowing that.
Try answer me a question, if ALL the sea ice melted, how much do you think it would raise sea levels by?Dude I can see that you are clueless to what is an ice shelf and how sea levels can and will raise with the melting of them.

216 feet plus new tides and new storm patterns. Look at Alaska. They lose biggest State status for sure. As a Texan, that cannot be all bad.
So, this seem like nothing? You are lost. That's it? That's what everyone is crying about? Oh, my.
