GROW INFORMATION
This is a 4 profit grow. the plants were purchased June 1st. they were let to harden off inside humidty domes, in beer cups, under the shade of a tree for about a week well the plot was finished. this grow log is going to contiune untill the final product is ready for sale (growing, harvesting, drying, and curing). Also im also going 2 buy bubble bags for the trim to make HaSh. all with pictures for advice and to help other people.

Location:
Southern Ontario, in a unused farm field, not used for 30 plus years i imagen. plants recieve almost full light from sun up to sun down. there is also a small stream close by for a water source.

Strain:
Unknown, I got about 105 clones, sold some, some wilted and died over all i have 80 plants. the guy i got them off of said they were called "WHAT YOU WANT". I reserached this strain with no success, i beleive though they must be a 50% or more indica strain. Help identiflying the strain is appericated.

Soil: The soil i picked up was standard promix, and also container promix (by mistake but it retains water better). The holes are roughly 1.5 feet by 1.5 feet. I mixed each hole with a cup of bone mean and a cup of grass ashes. the holes are also not fully fulled to catch extra water.

On weekly interviles i pull competing weeds from around the plants and place them on the soild around the plants to help retain and hold water n moisture

Nutrients
Vegation
i only water every other day, or every other day after it rains. I water fertilize and folar fertilize spray the leafs every friday. I started useing nutrients once the clones enternd vegation stage. ive been using miceral grow 20-20-20 at 1/4 as well as seaweed extract at hafe strength and joy juice 8-16-8 at hafe strength. Ive ran out of all 3 so next week im going to be picking up some more 20-20-20 micerale grow n just ride that out till flowering starts,

Flowering
when flowering starts im going to go with 15-30-15 miceral grow at 1/4 strength, once a week. im also going to add blackstrap mollasses to the fertizlier hafe way through agust. this increases bud size. at a ratio of 30 ml of blackstrap mollasses per 8 liters of water. Before harvest im going to flush the plants for a week. and possible stress them if that causes more potent pot.

my plots a rectangler shape n the images below show the view from each conner as well as a picture of one of my favorite ladies.
more updates to come...

Questions
1 would it be a good idea to cut off the the first set of nodes at the bottem of the plant? would i loose overall bud or would that enegery be transfored to the higher nodes? (to aviod those long streched buds, i want fat hard primo sellable ones)
2 im going to be using suger as a ferturlizer along with 15-30-15 miceral grow, whats a good ratio for suger per liter?
3 when do plants in sothern ontario begin flowering, do i have time to do the FIM technique? if not then would bending the plants really increase my yeild?
4 and whats the average harvest time in southern ontario?

you dont want to use sugar, you want to use blackstrap mollasses, you can pick that up at your local grocery store for about 2 dollars a pint, and you want to mix it 1 tablespoon to 1 gallon of water, you'll have to do the math for your metric measures. and if you really want to increase your yield, you want to look up LST, it works very well and dramaticly increases yield. just look around on here and search the term " LST " or Low stress training, it is very easy and is well worth the time.

oh and also you are going to give your babies nute burn using the nutes at the strenght you are using them, you want to cut that back to 1/4 strength of the suggested use strength

thanks alot for the blackstrap mollasses tip man + rep. but lst dosent seem like my thing, unless i was doing a indoor grow id deff do it.

QUESTIONs:
1 if i now started useing my nutrients at 1/4 strength does that mean i could fertilize them more often, say twice a week now?
2 would it be a good idea to cut off the the first set of nodes at the bottem of the plant? they are in light competion with the native grass. would i loose overall bud or would that enegery be transfored to the higher nodes? (to aviod those long streched buds, i want fat hard primo sellable ones)
3 when do plants in sothern ontario begin flowering,
4 do i have time to do the FIM technique?
5 and whats the average harvest time in southern ontario?
7 Ive also heard if you stress a plant before harvest it will produce more thc and be more potent, with that thought say, 2 days before harvest i cuts all the major fan leaves off, then the last day I place a garbage bag over the whole plant and the at the end of the day cut at the stem and carry my bud bag away, would that cause more potent pot?

1.Feed every other watering. Water every 2-3 days.
2.Go ahead and get rid of those lower budsites. (better airflow and better yield)
3.They will flower when they feel ready. (Soon i think.)
4.Yes but it will stall growth.
5.Not sure... Use google...
6.I doubt it but putting it in darkness for 48 hours before chop increases potency. (I have done it and seen a difference)

Updates of grow will be posted every time plants need water. If the rain holds out today I'll be seeing them tomarrow, a whole week of no contact!
2 DO list:
-fertilizing each plants with 1/4 strength 20-20-20 miceral grow,
-floral spray each plants leafs at 1/4 strentgh 20-20-20 miceral grow
-removing the lower nodes that are in competation with native grass
-also i always remove all leafs that are more then 50% eaten and more then 50% yellow.

All this sound good? Any tips/advice?

I try to fertilize and foliage spray every other watering. Every 5 days idealy, but its being raining alot lately so next time I go out is Monday hopefully, and I'll be doing both. According to the local weather network its going to be raining Friday through Saturday. So if they are right (80% Friday, 60% Saturday, only 20% for chance for Sunday and 0% chance for Monday and Tuseday), next time I'll be out is Monday the 26. That will be 10 days since I've be at my plot last. Sure to be a surprise!
N E 1 have n e good addatives to a vegation fertilizer? + rep

To Do List
-burn garbage/grow edvience
-pull weeds that are around and competing with marijuana plants, lay pulled weeds around base of marijuana plants to slow down water evaportation
-prune off the lowest nodes that are in competion with the native grass
-remove all leafs that are more then 50% eaten and more then 50% yellow.
-foliage spray every plant with 20-20-20 Micerale Grow at 1/4 strength
-water fertilize every plant with 20-20-20 Micerale Grow at 1/4 strength
-possibly put up chicken wire and fishing line if signs of animals abuseing plants
-take photo updates
-urinate on all coners of growsite

So today I returned to the grow site after a 10 day leave (i was'nt neglecting my plants, its just been raining a lot lately so no need for me to be there). I was out there for 5 hours today. bad sun burn. I started out pulling weeds and grass around the plants when I realized 2 hours later, just bring hedge trimmers next time.

I then started pulling off the tiny bud sites on the first two sets of opposing nodes, to focous the plants growth on the nice bag appeal buds. Then I removed all the leafs that were yellow in base colour as well as a couple that were eaten badly. For the plants with insect damage I just sprayed with a plant friendly insect killer. Also I saw a few catapilers that made little leaf tents. I just cut off the infected blade off the plant and STOMPED the bitch. there was'nt any sign of serious animal or insect damage. Some thing has been nibbleing the the bottem leafs, but nothing serious. And now that I've removed the leaf vegation near the bottem of the plants this shouldnt be an issue anymore.

Then I moved on to fertilizing. I mixed some 20-20-20 fertilizer into my watering can, at 1/4 recomended strength(10ml:8L). and watered every plant with the good old "1 mississppi, 2 mississppi, 3 mississppi, 4 mississppi, 5 mississppi" rule with my watering can. I was then going to foliage spray the same fertilizer and at the same strength, but my spray bottle wasnt working at all. And I've come to the conclusion that I'm not going to foliage spray anymore. After watering 80 plants by hand, foliage spraying all of them again dose'nt sound that appealing.

Over all it was a good day. I was a little dissappointed to not come back and see the plants as 5 foot monsters but o well, their healthy and doing good.

Photos updates:

left- this plant is seems like its showing some problems. yellowing of leafs as well as the end of the leaf tips are curling and dieing. DIAGNOSIS?

center- the best over all view of my 80 plant plot i could take.:-o

right- one of my leading ladies, same one as im my last photo update.

Questions (+REP)

1 how to treat my leaf disorder?
2 when does flowering typically start in southern Ontario?
3 any idea what my average yeild will be?
4 any tips or advice?

1) You shoud have prepaired the place better. There is to much different plants around, drainning the nutrients from the roots. What is the ph level of the soil there?
2) Deppends on variety
3) Deppends on variety, soil and sunlight. If i had to gues... 8,5 kilograms of dry buds.
4) Prepair your field better. Like you see on the first picture

i couldnt prepare the land to much because once June starts the black flys, deer flys and horse flys hit, hard. if you lived here youd understand. should have done it sooner i know lol. and i wondering if theres any natural nutrients i could add to fertilizing to combat the yellowing?

The nettle macerate can do the trick 100% organic, lot of nitrogen, free.

i was actually reading a high times yesterday and there was a grower who sounded like he had the same problem in the questions part of the magazine. the expert said that promix holds both water and fertilizers very well. a brand new bag of promix comes with all nesscarey nutrients to substain a plant for about a month. so any other fertilizing would be over overdosing the plant.

So im going to skip fertilizing the plants wedsenday and then on friday il only fertilize the plants with no sign of nutrient burn, and the ones with nutrient burn ill just give straight creek water.

QUESTIONS +rep
-Also I think the strain of my 80 plants could be FUCKING INCREDIBLE?
- does anyone have some home made bug repellent fourmulas?
- n e tips or advice to is aswome
