Dutch Passion Blueberry
Barney's Farm Acapulco Gold
Humboldt Seed Org. Blue Dream
Humboldt Seed Org. Lost Coast Hash Plant
Freebies:
Blimburn Seeds Cindy 99
AK Auto
BC Diesel
Grissly Purple Kush
Critical Auto

Hoping to meld art with science, hobby with passion-shedding light on both the breeder and the strain. Will offer stage progress from veg to mother to clone to veg, picking the most vibrant phenos to represent. Plan to fit this all into an outdoor plant date of 6/1. Need to sprout, veg, cull, clone and root for the May harvest moon, or soon thereafter. I have had great results with blue dream here in the 'Cruz, and Acapulco Gold was the first weed I smoked in 1978.

You can't miss with the blue strains here, and the Acapulco Gold will round out the sativa palate. Hoping it is truly "old school".

Good luck. I'm in for the ride.

Have you ran their AG before? Does it taste like back in the day?

Good luck bro , I'm here in SC also, I've got sunset sherbet, GG#4 , sour D , SSH, jack skellington, purple Cadillac , black berry kush and karma bitch . I love all the great strains around SC !
I'm from SC originally:-). Did you run the sunset sherbert outdoor last year? If you did, how did it do? I got the susnset sherbert, but have only ran it indoor so far. I love it. Thinking it would do pretty good outdoor.
A couple of my buddies killed it with gg4 outdoor last year.

Haven't tried the sherbet yet but I've also had great success with GG , jack skelington is also one of my favorites , I'm not even really sure what the cross is

Maybe it is this:

We've rocked lots of dif Tga/subcool strains(after pheno hunting) outdoor, and most were monsterous plants.
I seen you said you got the blackberrykush also. I killed it with that cut for a couple years indoor(like everyone else did to lol). Never did run her outdoor though.

Good to hear from the SC Mountain crowd. I'm in Brookdale as I type this. I'm going blue this year too - Blue Widow & Blue Dream.

Are any of you Mountain Feed customers? I spent some time there picking brains and getting ferts yesterday.

Soooooooooooooo..................the beans arrived-took 15 days from date of order. Kudos to Attitude :) Soaked in water 24 hours and planted in Riot Root starter tray. Currently on seed mat with T5 lights 24/7. I will post some pics when they come up. My goal now is to transplant these into 1 gallon pots and veg 24/7 for my clone mothers, taking the best phenos of each strain. I will then clone these for the summer crop and put the mothers out for a preview spring crop. That way, I can sample the results before committing to the full summer grow.

More to come............

Happy 4/20 to all :bigjoint:

Day 13, and this is a shot of the ladies. Of the 24 seeds, 22 sprouted. The 2 that did not were DP Blueberry (3 others did sprout nicely). Should also note that the Blimburn Critical Auto was not received. So, I have a few questions for the gurus. Keep in mind I was planning to use these as mothers for my summer clones. I currently bring these outside from around 8am to 7pm. They spend their evenings under a T5 24" 2 tube light, with darkness for 6 hours from midnight to 6am. I haven't grown from seed in sometime. In the past, I have had trouble with clones that were planted outside, say mid-May, going to flower. My research tells me that plants grown from seed can be put out earlier. Many in the Bay Area use June 1 as the outdoor plant date for clones, yet I have also heard that it is OK to plant earlier if the over-night temps are above 50 degrees. So:

Given that I have limited indoor room to grow these beyond the Solo cup size:

1) Is it feasible to transplant these to, say, 5-gallon containers and leave outside for both clone cuttings and a spring harvest? Would they flower too soon to provide cuttings? I think I may have better luck doing this with the indica strains, as opposed to sativa. Blue Dream is very prone to flowering early.

2) Should I stay the course and get these as large as I can on the 18/6 cycle I now have and take cutting in mid-May to have rooted clones by June 1?

3) Should I leave outside maybe the lesser-desired phenos and roll the dice with those, and keep the prime pheno on current schedule for the mid-May cuttings?

I had a 1 foot tall Critical Mass last year and put it outside in a 15 gallon about this time and it got 4 feet tall with a quarter pound dried-finished in June. Love that early bounty to carry the summer months.

Your wisdom is appreciated. Let's all learn together :leaf:

Day 30. 19 girls in for the night for two hours extended T5. 16/8 light cycle going until May 29th when they will be outdoors permanently. The Lost Coast Hash Plants are huge and I can see why it is a commercial strain. Stinks like a skunk's ass already. I will separate out the strains for group photos next time. Looking to place outdoors into 30-40 gallon earth pots May29th to June 1st. That's the outdoor plant dates for latitude 37. Acapulco Gold seems to be 2 phenos-1 tall and lanky and the other bushy. The Humboldt Seed Org. blue dreams seem to be true, and I have 1 pheno that appears to be blueberrry heavy with fatter leaves. The normal blue dream leaf is thinner. Always liked the SS Haze dominate phenos though. Hope everyone is on schedule.

And also these are outside in full sun all day. I bring them inside for light until 10pm and then on again at 6am, taking them outside again at 8am. Transplanting to 5 gallons here soon. Will add photos of them outside soon. The Cindy 99 and BC Diesel look yummy.

The ladies are under a light from 8pm to 8:30 and from 5:30am to 6am to mimic 15 hours of light. Will be transplanting to 40 gal earth pot May 29th for the summer grow.
