It depends...

What I like to do with stretchy types is to top and trim so that she has 4-6 branches, and then use LST and pinching to pull the branches out instead of up. Once the stretch stops (usually 3-4 weeks after flip for the Killing Fields) let the branch tips turn up. This will keep even the tallest sativa under control. Try not to stress her too much at one time if you can avoid it. Think of it as a scrog without the screen...

You can start,it 12/12 from seed and it will be 2-3 feet. It will grow for 2-3 weeks after switching lights to 12/12
