well i heard back from sannie today and he said that it was "strange" that my order was confiscated by customs and that he would resend my order. I feel pretty good about this order. Surely I won't get caught by customs 2 times in a row!

it's a lottery game. it's good to hear he's replacing the order though. and don't worry about the feds showing up. they won't bother over that. that letter you got is about as much time and money as they want to put into it.

Never order to your house when you have a grow going one...rule number 1 for growing in the states is secuirity! Never order to the house you are going to have a grow at!
Thats what friends and family help out with, good luck with the beans.

yea i am glad there wasn't much hassle so far replacing the order. I was hoping this order was going to go smoothly because I am interested in purchasing other strains he has. the new blue diesel, and madonna are on my wish list and i would purchase some of the seeds he gives away as freebies like the jackberry X blueberry indica. not to mention he has a cool points rewards system too where you earn points towards free seeds

give me just a second and i will post a pic. you probably won't be able to read it cuz i am using my cell camera but i can answer any ?'s you have concerning the letter

ok i take it back. i just looked at the pic on my computer and you will probably be able to read all of it. i just covered up the case # with my fingers.

I know 2 others others that have the same or similar letter........ neither has ever had a problem stemming from it. It was a ways back though, maybe a year ago. Sannie will resend them- hope they get thru for you. I think Sannie uses his name in the return address ( but the supply side, not seed side- a different business). I'm guessing they are opening anything with the name "Sannie" on it! LOL

May I suggest you framing the letter and selling it on Ebay.

really, you think that is is that rare that seeds from sannie are confiscated? i was hoping that they were only opening random items and that my order from sannie was an unlucky occurance. if not then there will be a lot of unhappy people that sannie won't be able to deliver to in the US. he will have to figure out another way to ship his products or stop delivering to the US

i was wanting to order from Sannie again but if the replacment shipment gets confiscated i think I am going to order Hashberry or JillyBean from Attitude and pay for the guaranteed shipping.

I didn't say they were from Sannie's...... just that they got the letter too. In fact, they weren't from Sannie. It's just that I'd feel alot better if he didn't have his "real" name on the envelope.
That's like advertising "SEEDS INSIDE"!

yea, i know what you mean. when i saw his name on there, i was like suprised. we will see though. he has an excelent reputation, so i imagine the seeds will be here in a few days

well i recieved my second order today in the mail. keep in mind that my first 2 orders were shipped the same day and the first was confiscated. well i got the second package in the mail today and it too came with a letter saying it was confiscated. so it does indeed sound like his shipping methods have been busted and if he doesn't change his shipping methods, you may not get to see any of his seeds comming into the US again and I am out $100 maybe.

Now im a little worried I placed my order about 25min before reading this post. Wish i decided to check out the forums before i ordered. I have ordered from Sannie before in the past a few times, to the East coast and every things went well but it looks like they might have caught on

All the letters i have ever seen are from Chicago, Has anyone seen any from other locations?

I ordered 5 Fem killing Fields beans.

Sannie responded to my email yesterday saying he would ship out another order today.

I asked him if maybe his shipments were being watched for but he says that this is a rare case (the two of us). Overall so far I can say Sannie has good customer service (now if only I can test the rest of his wares).

i hope this is just a rare situation... if my shipment gets confiscated this time I am going to ask if it can be shipped without his "Name" on the return address. I don't know if he would ship a 3rd time if it gets confiscated. I ordered 10 reg killing fields and 10 reg jackberry F3's. I really want to order the New Blue Diesel and I really want some of the blueberry indica X jackberry freebies... so if i don't get my seeds this time i will be really bummed out and I won't be ordering from him again. i can't afford to throw away $

I can't tell where it says mine came in... I really doubt it was Chicago though. I am near the Ohio border in PA

Sannie just told me today he is changing his packaging to the U.S.......... I guess he agrees with the name issue on the package and is changing it up. He must be having additional U.S. shipping issues. Thanks Sannie!!!
