San Pedro vs. T.Peruvianus

Hey everyone,
Does anyone have experience with either (both) of these species? I hear T.Peruvianus is more potent.
Any opinions? Both of these are readily available unlike Peyote, so i want to choose the more potent of the two.

going to do an alcohol x-traction of some powdered peruvian torch/ where can i get the best deals online? Anyone..?
 
So I ended up going with the P.Torch for its' reportedly higher mescaline content.
I read may varying reports on entheogenic cacti. Very difficult to gauge potency without consuming it.
Decided to do an everclear x-traction as I have read this works. Looking forward to working with "Achuma" (T. Brigedesci) in the futue. I hear this one is alkaloid-rich ;-)_~
 
I recently read a report as to the potency between the two - (J.Hopkins study data). Here are their findings: 100g dried T.Pachanoi = 300mg. Mescaline
37.5 dried T.Peruvianus = 300mg. Mescaline
27g dried L.Williamsi (Peyote) = 300mg. Mescaline

These are general guidelines, as the potency varies-
 
I'd like to see the ranges on those. I know there's a fair amount of variability but I'd be curious to see it quantified. I like when things are quantified.
 
So would I, but specific info isn't easy to find ime. Generally, it seems Peruvianus and Brigdesii have been reported as containing relatively higher amounts of mescaline then S.Pedro. However, the most potent pedro is repordedly equivalent to, or more potent than L.Williamsii so it obviously varies greatly. Just got some seeds, these were sourced in Peru, from the locality where the species was first described by Britton and Rose in the early 1900's ;-)_~
 
It does not matter really. ll in how you prepare the tea. They say peyote has extra alkaloids but I've heard they are nothing special ... It's all about the mescaline. You could get a San Pedro that was twice as much mescaline as a torch or the other way around. It's like asking what the hottest pepper is. I've had jalapeño that would melt your face...

In the case of how hot a jalapeños is going to be, is a factor of growing conditions and watering schedule, which probably plays a critical role in the production of alkaloids in the different species of cactus.
