So idk what this is,but no difference in treatment has been given to my cactus..so either I got cactus herpes,or a deformity,or,is it flowering also? Im no expert..
Any opinions?

The position is correct to be a flower but I rate its forming a new pup/chute. If there is hairs in the crack its a flower otherwise if green new chute.

can't tell, looks maybe like a pup, could even be a root. I get roots up high on occasion it that side is in the dark.
