I have a question about a build just conformation on compatibility. I want to get 6 LT-FB24B STRIPS DRIVEN BY HGL-600-48A which can run 600w with 12.5 amp each strip ran at 2.0833 amp. Will this work

Its 3.6A for each strip,
The driver drives 12.5A @48v
so you can only drive 3 strips at max off this driver.

Your strips will run at 2.08A. they just won't be bright as much as they are.

Should work fine might need some heatsink or sheet metal for the heat.

Edit: those are the 4' strips right?

Ya it's the 4 foot strips I want to run them softer cut im using passive cooling just aluminum u channel with L channel aluminum around the edges has anyone ran these at 3+amp I only veg indoors and put them outside Spring this year they went out at about a foot 8 mains but next year I want them to min 2 feet with 12 mains I would rather grow fewer but monsters I want about the same lumens as outdoors to help prevent light burn as I don't have the option to put them out for few hours n back in

Depends on what ur looking for the LM301B has the highest efficiency but idk if they are In Strips yet but the LM561C are. samsung they have the density of diodes next are bridgelux and bridgelux are pretty comparable to efficiency to lm561c some people get slightly higher efficiency with the bridge Lux they think that they are super under-rated so they are ran really soft at the recommended amperage there is also solstrip x3's I just wish they were longer

I run 4 of the FB24B's as boosters during flower. They are mounted on 2"x.125" aluminum strip(45"). The strips are designed to operate @ 100w at the test current-they will run at 50+ degC so they will be hot but they are designed to run that way. My Vero arrays use passive cooling so I already have good airflow for cooling so the strips are warm but not burning hot. The driver you listed will be perfect for 6 of the F strips.

Yeah, mine gets to about 50C in summer, but right now it is probably low 40s

I read nichia was the best somewhere, but idk what the price vs sammy looks like. Cree has new led releases as well.
