Hi everyone quick question. Is it safe to plug two ballasts into one power strip? The wattage of the ballasts are 250w and 400w and the strip itself is plugged into a surge protector. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.

A 1000w ballast runs at about 8amps and spikes to 10amps when firing up. So dont do two of those. Two 600w ballasts would be pushing it a little as they spike to about 8amp when firing up and i think most power bars are 15 amp.
